Penhill from West Witton, Yorkshire Dales

A lovely walk on the eastern edge of the Yorkshire Dales. The trail starts with a fairly steep ascent out of West Witton village, before looping round and walking up to and along the ridge of Penhill. The hill allows great views in all directions, including across Wensleydale and Coverdale. The route then descends back into West Witton. There is free parking in the lay-by next to the village.
