Fairfield Horseshoe, Lake District

Starting in Rydal, this route is a long horseshoe-shaped loop incorporating several Wainwrights, the highest of which is Fairfield at 873m. Easy to navigate on a clear day, with fantastic views in all directions, including of Ambleside and Windermere to the south.
