This is a fantastic walk with absolutely stunning views of Snowdonia. Everywhere you look is beautiful. The climb up Cnicht is very easy to follow but steep at the end, with a bit of scrambling required. After leaving the ridge, the path round wasn't entirely clear and we went a little bit off track, before finding our way back to the abandoned quarry site. After leaving here, look for the path up Moelwyn Mawr, making sure you cross the stile to stay on the right side of the fence. The path again became a little bit unclear at times on the descent from Moelwyn Mawr, so look out carefully and use a map to help keep your bearings. The trail was very boggy in places, especially when losing the main path. The incredible landscape more than made up for the tricky terrain and navigational difficulties!
