Knaresborough & Nidd Gorge hike (1 day)

Here's the plan:

• Meet outside The Mitre pub next to Knaresborough train station
• We will start walking at around 10:15 (I'm planning to take the 09:42 train from York, arriving in Knaresborough at 10:07)
• Total walking distance will be around 10 km (6.2 miles), which should take around 2.5 hours
• Cumulative elevation gain: 266m (872 feet)
• We can have a drink and some lunch in Knaresborough at the end of the walk!

This walk should be comfortable for anyone with a decent level of fitness. AllTrails describes it as "Moderate" difficulty (on a scale of Easy-Moderate-Hard).
